D20 Gaming Dice Set Pro provides a set of dice compatible with most dice based games. The application provides 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, and 100 sided dice. It will let you roll any number of dice at a time. For example, if you needed to roll 4D6 (4 6-sided dice), you would choose 4 as the quantity, and D6 as the dice type, then hit roll. It will then show you the total of all dice rolled, as well as the individual numbers rolled on each dice. The application also supports dice rolling sound that can be turned off for silent rolling.
The PRO version of the application supports everything above, plus the ability to roll multiple sets of dice at a time. For example, 3D6 + 2D8 - 3. The interface provides a quick and easy way to dial-in the exact roll you wish to perform. Whether you are rolling 25D20 for fireball damage, or play with a DM who is always making you make strange rolls D20 Gaming Dice Set Pro has what you need.
This application replaces the need of carrying a collection of various dice to all of your gaming sessions.
*** Next Version of D20 Gaming Dice Set Pro ***
The pro version of the application will have support in future versions for dropping dice, re-rolling certain dice, and the ability to add and save rolls that you do often so you can quickly roll dice configurations for whatever your favorite game requires.

Pros and cons of D20 Gaming Dice Pro app for iPhone and iPad
D20 Gaming Dice Pro app good for
* tapping on a dice should add a dice number each time you tap on it. Instead of just selecting it.
* need to be more iphone/ipod friendly (bigger buttons)
Ive tried out a few of the dice apps and this one is not only the best, but it has the most potential as well. Really looking forward to being able to save frequently used rolls. The sound effects are a little... harsh, I guess? But they dont detract from the app.
I wont repeat the pros from everyone else, but I will make a few UI suggestions. MOST rolls are a # of dice and a modifier. Right now, when you press a dice, nothing happens. It should fill in the dice in the roll. I shouldnt HAVE to say "1" and then press the d10 to get 1d10. It should be the default.
Second, I shouldnt have to put in the +. That should also be the default. So if I press "d10" and "5", the screen should put in 1d10 + 5. Similarly, if I at any time press a - it should flip the plus to a minus. These are just usability so as not to frustrate a user by forcing them to enter in everything the long way. One more usability tweak. Each time I tap the dice, it should add another one to the roll. E.g. "d10" "d10" 3 should cause a "2d10 + 3" to be put in the roll bar. If you implement these things, I think most people would agree it just became a 5 star roller, particularly as d20 dice Pro is now a paid app.
Thanks
Some bad moments
Dicenomicon
Benefits:
Physics Engine- Adds to realistic dice interaction and is not simply a random number generator.
Versitility - Able to handle a broad geanre of games requiring dice like White Wolf games where the dice measure successes and failures.
Preset Dice - You can save common rolls so they can be rolled at the press of a button.
Aestetics - the Dice being rolled look good (this is a vanity issue not a functionality one)
Drawbacks:
Limited Dice - Unable to handle more then 50 dice at once.
Learning curve - Some of the formulae needed to do complex rolls can be difficult to understand.
Dice Pro
Limitations:
Crashes - Large number of dice crash or lock the iphone/Itouch (over 5200)
Limited gaming systems - Cant handle other systems like Shadowrun or White Wolf gaming needs.
Random number generator - Dice are not just random numbers they interact with each other which is not present with out a physics engine.
Benefits:
Quick - This gives results very fast.
Large number of dice - Able to handle a roll of 5000 dice at once.
Over all Dicenomicon is the superior program for the gamer who as needs other then D20
